Natural wonders

Songbirds
sing
songs,
from the branches of the trees
in the sky
across the seas they fly
to bring music to
my ears and tears
to my eyes.

Every stone I skim
river I swim
roads I walk
words that I talk
do not compare to
the birds
in the air
in the trees
across the sea
singing their songs
to me.
