Dreams on a pension

White light
burning in the back room
watching late night TV
sitting on the chair.

A full moon
shines on
this October,
Winter’s coming
I can feel it in the air.

I become
tidal in the tropics
I am mangrove growing
by a Southern sea.

Hot sand
running through my fingers,
on the islands that is
where I want to be.

White light,
Winter,
I watch Summer
splinter
and
wish I had saved some
for me.
