In the end

We spun the hands of time and they came up three
but the clock struck nine and I awoke to see that she’d
gone,
life goes on,

There is nothing you can do and everything you’ve ever said
only leaves an empty space for the chimes within your head
that keep you going.

Here I am and there I go
slowly rocking to and fro
knowing that I know
next to nothing,

and nothing’s nothing new
if the World waits watching you
just keeping on doing what you do
and you will get there
in the end.
