They pick you up then lock you down,
the trick is to roll with the punches.
I’ve been in a few knockabouts
and know the ropes,
but never been tied up for
for trying to get up,
we live and learn
we earn a crust
or go bust
reminds me of pontoon,
I’m still on fifteen
wondering if I should
draw another card
or stick.
